Meet Kabelo

Kick4Life Academy student-athlete, Kabelo Ngatane, 15, has obtained top results in his school for the Junior Certificate examinations, passing with first class.

With the results having been released on Tuesday, KB, as he is also known, said: “I am happy I made it through, it’s a good feeling to be a top performer at school. It’s a step closer to my aspiration of taking on a science course after completing high school

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Kabelo had to adapt to learning from home. He said the support he received from his family, Kick4Life and Thetsane High School played a huge role towards his success.

Speaking on his performance, Head of Education at Kick4Life, Motema Letlatsa, congratulated Ngatane on his performance: “Kabelo has once again shown that he is a leader, an example amongst his peers. He has always been a hard worker and we had upmost trust in him that he will do well. We are happy that he has got the first class,”

The Deputy Principal from Thetsane High School, Matebello Samosamo thanked Kick4Life for the partnership with the school, remarking that the school continues to enjoy the good results of this relationship. She said participants from Kick4Life are always good ambassadors to their fellow students.
