Challenge
Girls over the age of 12 are not allowed to attend school. Additionally, since the facto authorities took over the country in 2021, access at the primary level has decreased significantly. This will increase child labor and early marriages.
Solution
Partnering with Razia’s, we are providing uniforms to all of the girls attending their Education Center.
Afghanistan is the only country in the world that forbids girls and women from receiving secondary and higher education. Approximately 1.4 million girls ages 12 and above are being denied education.
